Jake's June 6, 2012 email

well this week is transfers. and im staying with Elder pineda in our area for another change. 3 changes with the same companion is un heard of. so i guess we will see how it goes. and our area is going good. nothing too new. but at least im not changing because i like my area. and i was using a really small desk in my room for my studies. so we switched one of the desks from the other missionaries. i didnt like the small one but hte new one is alot bigger so i feel comfortable. and i found a guy who makes leather scripture cases but he paints a photo on them. they look really cool so i think im going to buy some. its only 800 pesos. which is like 40 dollars. or something like that. i just need to call him. and one family that is our investigators are soo sweet. they cook us cake all of the time or cookies. and they are super nice and their son is getting baptized in two weeks. we just need to work more with the parents to come to church. but we are getting there. and i took pictures with them. but the thing is that my converter for the memory card broke so i need to buy a new one. so that is why there hasnt been pictures lately. and we also found out that a super amazing family is having problems to the point that the dad left his wife and two children. so we need to go talk to him and drop some cain with love. why would you leave a family. i dont get it. thay act like its not a big deal but i can tell that it is.well its been getting colder here, but nothing like utah. and im going good. nothing new this week . hopefully i will have a cool experience next week. love ya´ll....
